        Ils sont heureux- They are happy
        Vous êtes des hôtesse de l'air- You are some flight attendants
        Elles sont des passagers- They are passengers


Avoir = To have

J'ai- I have
Tu as- You have (singular)
Il a- He has
Elle a- She has
On a- We/They/People have
Nous avons- We have
Vous avez- You have (plural)
Ils ont- They have (m)
Elles ont- They have (f)

            
You can use avoir to express age.
            Example~ J'ai quinze ans. I am 15 years old or I have 15 years.

Aller = To go

Je vais- I go
Tu vas- You go (singular)
Il va- He goes
Elle va- She goes
On va- We/They/People go
Nous allons- We go
Vous allez- You go (plural)
Ils vont- They go (m)
Elles vont- They go (f)

            Aller can mean to go or going to go
            On y va? Means should we go?
            On y va! Means let's get going!
            
Prendre = To take/have (food)

Je prends- I take/have
Tu prends- You take/have (singular)
Il prend- He takes./has
Elle prend- She takes/has
On prend- We/They/People take/have
Nous prenons- We take/have
Vous prenez- You take/have (plural)
Ils prennent- They take/have (m)
Elles prennent- They take/have (f)

            
The verbs apprendre (to learn) and comprendre (to understand)
            are conjucated in the same way. Just take of the 'dre'in both the
            verbs and add the underlined part from prendre

 
Jamais = Never
Rein = Nothing
Je suis un étudiant = I am a student
To say I am not a student you add 'ne' and 'pas' around suis

Je mange à McDonalds- I eat at McDonalds
To say I never eat at McDonalds you say
Je ne mange jamais à McDonalds.
You see how I added 'ne' and 'jamais' around mange, the verb/action word. That is how you make the sentance say never.

Je mange- I eat
To say I never eat you say
Je ne mange rien- I eat nothing
Like before, you add 'ne' and 'rein' around the verb
 
À = At


Le = The (male)
Les = The (male and female)
La = The (female)
L' = The (male and female)


à + le = au
à + les = aux
à + la = à la
à + l' = à l'

De = From


de + le = du
de + les = des
de + la = de la
de + l' = de l'




 
Passè composè of a verb is the past tense of the verb. For example, instead of saying I am going you could say I went or I have gone.
Certain verbs also form there past tense with être. Most of these verbs express motion or to of from a place.

Arriver =  To arrive
Entrer = To enter
Monter = To go up/get on
Descendre = To get off
Aller = To go
Partir = To leave
Sortir = To go out
Rentrer = To return
Il est arrivé = He arrived
Il est entré = He entered
Il est monté = He went up/ got on
Il est descendu = He got off
Il est allé = He went
Il est parti = He left
Il est sorti = He went out
Il est rentré = He returned
The past participle of the verbs conjugated with être must agree with the number of things (people, animals, toys etc..) and what gender the thing is (male, female)
Masculin

Je suis parti- I left
Tu es parti- You left
Il est parti- He left
Nous sommes partis- We left
Vous êtes parti(s)- You left
Ils sont partis- They left

Feminin

Je suis partie- I left
Tu es partie- You left
Elle est partie- She left
Nous sommes parties- We left
Vous êtes partie(s)- You left
Elles sont parties- They left
Although the following verbs do not express motion to/from places, they can also be conjugated with être
Rester = To stay
Tomber = To fall
Naître = To be born
Mourir = To die
Il est resté huit jours.
Il est tombé.
Elle est née en France.
Elle est morte en 2000.
He stayed a week.
He fell.
She was born in France.
She died in 2000.
Examples
Je suis parti l'ecole.
Il est allé à Madagascar.
Elles est née en Canada.

I left school.
He went to Madagascar.
They were born in Canada.
