Go to Start, Programs, Acessories, System Tools, then click Character Map.

Click the character you want, it should show up in the white bar beside the button that says Select. The click select and it should show up in the area you want them to.

~Note, make sure you have clicked the area you want the character to go in BEFORE doing this last step ☺
